Tech Thursday: Gen2 Energy

Gen2 Energy is dedicated to developing, building, controlling and operating an integrated value chain for green hydrogen within 2024. The company aims to establish production capacity at large-scale for green hydrogen based on 100 percent renewable energy, and to operate an intelligent logistics network.

Odd-Arne Lorentsen, CTO of Gen2Energy will talk about the challenges and solutions around hydrogen, as well some of the company’s latest projects. Lorentsen holds a PhD degree in electrochemistry from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). His special fields of competence are hydrogen, ammonia and aluminium production. He has served in several senior technical development and management positions at Yara International and Hydro for more than twenty years, as well as adjunct professor at NTNU
